School-Connect Programme at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gomati, Tripura

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gomati, Tripura organized a Career Guidance and Counselling Session as part of the School Connect Programme initiated by NLU Tripura under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor, and coordinated by Ms. Merelin Darlong, Assistant Professor of English, NLU Tripura. The session was led by Dr. Ripon Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor of Law, NLU Tripura. Dr. Bhattacharjee introduced students to various career pathways, with a special emphasis on opportunities in the field of law, including advocacy, judiciary, corporate law, civil services, cyber law, and intellectual property law. He highlighted that law plays a vital role in everyone’s life—from understanding our rights and duties to making informed everyday decisions. Emphasizing that law is everywhere, he explained how it shapes society and ensures justice. His insightful and motivating guidance helped students appreciate the significance of legal education and the wide range of possibilities it offers. The Vidyalaya expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bhattacharjee for his valuable contribution to students’ career awareness and motivation.
