Centre for Rights of Child

It is not possible to witness effective nation-building without taking due care of the future generation of the country. The future of the country depends on the kind of education, care, and quality of life provided to the children. The Centre for Protection of Child Rights intends to take action at the core level and foster practical development in the present situation. The aim is to use the tool of law to bring about social change in the lives of children. The Centre will focus on taking the necessary steps to provide a quality life for children, which also includes education as a tool for ultimate change in their lives as well as the lives of their parents. The Centre plans to work for the betterment of the lives of children belonging to underprivileged and marginalized sections of society. It supports and initiates research, social advocacy and field action on issues related to the welfare of children. The Centre aims to offer comprehensive assistance and advice to various levels of institutional governance in order to safeguard and protect children's rights. It will undertake sensitization programs and extend access to justice in the areas of juvenile justice and child health.
