The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Sanjib Kr. Bhowmik, an esteemed academician and practitioner in the field of Health Education and Yoga, whose insights provided a meaningful connection between traditional practices and modern mental health concerns.

Highlighting the scientific validation of yoga therapy, Dr. Bhowmik emphasized its role in reducing cortisol levels, improving sleep patterns, enhancing concentration, and strengthening resilience against the pressures of academic and professional life. He also drew attention to how yoga therapy is now widely recognized in clinical contexts for managing symptoms of depression, anxiety disorders, and psychosomatic illnesses.

The session was particularly significant as it marked the beginning of the academic year 2025–26, inspiring students to embrace yoga not just as an extracurricular practice but as a lifestyle that fosters personal growth, emotional intelligence, and spiritual well-being.
