The library offers a rich collection of both print and digital resources to support teaching, learning, and research in law and allied disciplines.

  • Books & Commentaries:
    The library houses over 1,500 volumescovering more than 150 legal subjects including Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, IPR, Human Rights, International Law, and Environmental Law. The collection includes legal commentaries, encyclopedias, digests, and dictionaries.
  • Newspapers:
    Subscribed print newspapers include The Hindu, Indian Express, Times of India,and Tripura Times.
  • Journals:
    Print journals and periodicals include India Today, Outlook, Yojana, Pratiyogita Darpan, SCC (1950–2024), AIR (1930–2024), AIR Manual (6th ed.),Economic and Political Weekly, and Down to Earth.
  • Encyclopaedias:
    Over 180 encyclopaediason law and general subjects, including Manusmrti, Mahabharata, Sacred Books of the East, Dharmashastras by P.V. Kane, and Ramaiya’s Guide to the Companies Act.
  • Dictionaries:
    The library holds more than 100 general and legal dictionariessuch as Oxford English Dictionary, Agarwala’s Legal Dictionary, Mitra’s Legal and Commercial Dictionary, Avtar Singh’s College Law Dictionary, and Stroud’s Judicial Dictionary (11th Ed., 3 Vols).

    The library provides access to major legal and academic databases including:

  • HeinOnline– global repository of law journals and treaties.
  • JSTOR– multidisciplinary scholarly archive.
  • DELNET– resource-sharing network offering access to over 4 crore books, journals, theses, and full-text law journals.

    • E-Journals:
      Accessible through Economic and Political Weekly, Down to Earth,and ONOS platform, providing access to leading publishers such as AAAS, ACM, Elsevier, Oxford, Cambridge, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, and many more across disciplines.
