About Mr. Simul Chakraborty

Mr. Simul Chakraborty started his career as an Associate Librarian at INFLIBNET Center, Inter UGC Center, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He Work on NIRF Ranking and NAAC Assessment. His work is to retrieve the publication bibliometrics of Universities or Institutes of India, by making advanced queries on Web of Science and Scopus databases and fetching their H-index, total citations, and publications, and highly impact research papers And fetch the APCs of different Journals, the data is being used for one nation one subscription (ONOS) project, NAAC and NIRF ranking, apart from this some supervision of Electronics Thesis and Dissertation (ETDs) conference and work as Resource Person to provide training assistant on Advance bibliometrics and Research Output Analysis. Mr. Chakraborty is Life time member of Madras Library association (MLA) and also submit a paper on “Indigenous Cultural Knowledge of Northeast India: A Survey of Digital Archives” for Promotion of Library Automation and Networking in North-Eastern Region (PLANNER) Convention 2024. He also attends various national and International Conferences.

Mr. Chakraborty completed summer training on Internet on Things (IoT) and operations of digital electronics from Indian Institute of Technology BHU (IIT-BHU), Varanasi. He is well versed in Operating System like Linux based Operating System, Windows, Mac and Andriod. And Application Package like Microsoft Office, Office 365, Google Workspace, Multimedia tools. And Languages like C, C++, HTML, JAVA, Python, CSS, R programming, MATLAB. Library Software like KOHA, Dspace, Web design, VOSviewer, Zoom, Zotero, Turnitin, Canva, Digital Marketing, wordpress etc. And Databases like Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, Sherpa Romeo, JSTOR, LexisNexis, Creative Commons, etc. He also work as Intern at Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and process skills of librarianship, Research tools, library management and Operations.
