Inspection and Update on Construction Work of Hostels, Academic and Administrative Block

On the request of the Vice-Chancellor, an inspection of the ongoing construction works under the National Law University Tripura Campus Establishment Project was conducted on 26 June 2026 by Shri Kiran Gitte, IAS, Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Tripura, along with the Chief Engineer, PWD, other senior officials of the Department, and representatives of the contractors executing various campus buildings. The inspection reviewed the progress, quality, and pace of construction and involved detailed discussions on measures to expedite the completion of the project. During the review, revised timelines were finalized, with one block of the Boys’ Hostel scheduled for completion by 30 July 2026, the Girls’ Hostel targeted for completion by November 2026, and the Academic and Administrative Block expected to be completed by May 2027.
