SESSION ON MEDITATION AND MENTAL WELL-BEING

Date: 9th April 2025

Resource Person: Ms. Ankita Debnath, Yoga Instructor

The Yoga and Wellness Cell of National Law University Tripura organized a dedicated session on Meditation and Mental Well-Being on 9th April 2025 under the guidance of Ms. Ankita Debnath. The session was thoughtfully designed to help participants cultivate physical vitality, mental clarity, and inner harmony, thereby promoting a holistic approach to personal wellness. Participants were encouraged to view meditation not as a temporary practice but as a sustainable lifestyle habit that contributes to overall well-being.

The interactive session included guided meditation exercises that enabled participants to disconnect from daily stressors and experience a state of deep relaxation. Through controlled breathing, mindfulness, and visualization techniques, attendees were able to explore practical ways to achieve inner peace and enhance resilience in the face of academic and personal challenges.

The session was well-received by the participants, who appreciated the opportunity to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate amidst their busy schedules. This initiative once again reaffirmed the Yoga and Wellness Cell’s mission to integrate holistic health practices into the academic environment, thereby supporting the community’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
