University Sports Committee

The Sports Committee of the National Law University, Tripura aims to foster a culture of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students, faculty, and staff. By organizing and promoting a diverse range of sports activities and events, the committee seeks to encourage active participation, develop athletic talents, and enhance the overall well-being of the university community. The committee is committed to providing a supportive environment that nurtures both competitive and recreational sports, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students.

To become a leading force in shaping a vibrant and dynamic sports culture within the National Law University Tripura, where every individual has the opportunity to engage in sports and physical activities. The Sports Committee envisions a future where the university is recognized for its outstanding sports programs, fostering excellence, leadership, and lifelong wellness in its community. The committee aspires to create a legacy of sportsmanship, unity, and pride that transcends the university and impacts society positively.

MANDATE

Provide Sports Assistance: To offer an equitable platform for the students of university for growth of their sportsmanship, making them all-round performers in their life.

Promote Sport Literacy: To teach law students about appropriation of team spirit in both intellectual as well as manual tasks of life; and also, about the nitty-gritty of sports and sport laws in India.

Capacity Building: To train law students about various sports, both outdoor and indoor, physical workout, team leading and leadership quality, time and resource management etc.

Collaboration and Networking: To establish a close association with various sports committee of various university and academic as well as sports institutions, both in-state and inter-state.
