Intra-University Speech Competition 2025

The Literary and Debating Society (LDS), NLU Tripura, successfully organized the 3rd Intra-University Speech Competition 2025. The event was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Nachiketa Mittal, Registrar, NLU Tripura, who addressed the students with inspiring words on the importance of confidence and the art of public speaking as indispensable qualities for every aspiring lawyer. Around 50 students participated with great enthusiasm, displaying remarkable eloquence, clarity of thought, and persuasive speaking skills. The competition concluded with Somrudha Chowdhury emerging as the Winner, Kritika Sharma as the First Runner-Up, and Dhruv Sharma as the Second Runner-Up, all from B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) First Year. The event was held under the guidance of Ms. Merelin Darlong, Faculty Advisor, LDS, and was judged by Ms. Pragati Chakraborty, Ms. Sakshi Singh, and Mr. Nehru Beniwal, Research Scholars, NLU Tripura.
