About Ms. Susmita Das
Miss Susmita Das received her LLM from Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur, and LLB from the Tripura Govt. Law College, Central University of Tripura. After clearing the SLET exam Miss Das enrolled herself in a PhD Program. Her PhD topic “right to health – a socio-legal study of brick industry workers in west Tripura district in the state of Tripura” will be a contribution towards health care facilities available to brick industry workers of Tripura.
Miss Das has presented numerous papers on constitutional, social and legal issues at various national and international seminars. She constantly writes in the field of law in reputed law chronicles, national and international law journals. Miss Susmita also writes for the general public, contributing recurrently to The Tripura Observer & Tripura Times.
Miss Susmita started teaching in the Commerce Department of Bir Bikram Memorial College, Agartala, Tripura. There she taught in UG classes. Susmita Das thereafter joined as a faculty at Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Agartala, Tripura.
