Prof. V.K. Ahuja, University of Delhi visited NLU Tripura
Prof. V K Ahuja, Senior Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, India, currently serving as the Director, Indian Law Institute, Former VC of the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, during his gracious visit to the National Law University, Tripura for the Second Academic Council meeting of the University, has been kind enough to share his valuable insights and remarks on the topic, “Research and Publication Ethics” addressing the Students of LL.M. Second Semester, Batch 2024-2025.
The lecture of Prof. V K Ahuja, was scheduled from 12:15 am in the scheduled classroom of LL.M. The lecture started with a warm introduction of Prof. Ahuja by the Registrar, NLU Tripura Himself. Prof. Ahuja, during his lecture made power point presentation and the lecture ended with a formal vote of thanks by the VC. NLU Tripura Himself.
Prof. Ahuja, being a prolific writer penning numerous reputed books and articles, taught the students of masters as well as the Research scholars and interested teachers about the nitty-gritty of writing a research paper highlighting the role of ideal research ethics guiding the dos and don’ts of a researcher balancing his subjective approach of research to the purpose of research and objective transparency. Explaining the domains of research fraud and misrepresentation, Prof. Ahuja illustrated the risk of a vicious vice of flawed research upon the society at large with adequate case studies and summed up his lecture with virtues of ideal research work showing his august observations and valued suggestions for research. It was indeed a candid academic experience to listen to the expertise of Prof. Ahuja.
